After acquiring a recipe booklet and a silver teapot from Halle Bros., I was on a search for a postcard of the department store itself. Recently I came across this one, and I love the colorful graphics with the period cars parked along the street.
Of course what most caught my attention was the wording on the back advertising the "Famous tea room with view of Lake Erie." Now I'm on another mission: to locate a picture of that tea room with what I imagine was a pretty fabulous lake view!
